1.5TSi ACT

Featured Replies

So which two cylinders shut down when conditions are right?

On a long drive recently and the average mpg indicator ticked up fast from 25'ish mpg to 52.5 mpg in a very short space of time once the Eco light and 2 cylinder mode lit up

Probably the same ones as did with 1.4 TSI / TFSI  ACT/COD

You're spoiling him Awaoffski, he will just grow up to be lazy :)

Save one litre of fuel per 100Km but fifty more things to go wrong :D

Odd thing,

Skoda are going to sell a Fabia Mk3 Limited Edition to mark the WRC2 Success of the Fabia R5 with a 1.4TSI / DSG with 125ps.  1,300 models for 21 markets.

So not a 140ps or 150ps 1.4TSI / TFSI or even a ACT / COD.

Could it maybe be because in Real World Tests that will be carried out those 1.4 TSI still being used in some models have 'Implausible / Irregular results from the Euro 6 EU Testing.

I take it these 1.5TSI EVO ACT / DSG are all going to stand up to the Real World Testing.

Pity it is not done with a driver & 4 dummies of the  average weights of people representing a car occupied and also luggage in the boot.

I've  spent the last 51 years trying to do as little as possible and so far it is working well.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.
