I have standard 2014 CTHE Fabia VRS 1.4 tsi, I want a cold air induction kit. 

What, where, how much and model numbers should I look for?

The ITG Induction,  not the Forge. 

 

 Or just keep fitting clean new filters. Have you got the car re-mapped?

 

Do a google or search, there are plenty threads here on this forum on them.

I see you say standard.

Unless you want the looks, not worth £300 if that is what one costs for a performance improvement or just noise, 

but others will disagree. 

Better go get a APR Stage 1 and keep the standard Air Box. IMO.

Hi all!
I installed the K & N E-2997  in the stock filter box.
And did not get any gain ...

To cool the air, I decided to make an analogue to replace the pants air intake.
Was made in 3d mode. Printed on the printer and installed in the car.
I got an intake temperature drop of about 7 degrees Celsius.
And also increased air consumption by 4 grams / second.

Battery in the boot as a Polo GTI has as standard and a much cheaper and efficient air intake all day long IMO.

(weights off the rear if a vRS hatchback, an estate has none.)

IMO the forge kit is fine, Plenty of people run it with no problems, recently TMG went stage 2 on fabia with the forge and all air flow/intake was spot on........I once heard a myth that they are worse for performance. Sort the CAI out with the battery replacement tray from TMG and get the air flowing as it should instead of that snaking flexi cold air intake they provide.

 

As said above the TMG is the dogs dangles.
