Tiny rattle noise from passenger side front.

Featured Replies

Hi, recently getting a tinny metal noise coming from the passenger side front wheel on my 2013 Fabia vrs. It occurs when I go over speed bumps, rough roads and pot holes. Also heard the same noise when down shifting Manually, any ideas what it could be?

Welcome.

Sorry can not hear the noise from those down loads, and they have just filled my files for some reason.

So the front Down Pipe Bracket breaks,  check for that.

The Joint behind the Resonator box as well,  so check that.

If you do a search there is the infamous 'Cattle Grid noise' some get from the DSG.

Then a pipe rattle in the engine compartment.

You can get a brake pad rattle.

So best try and check which noise you are hearing.

Has your car been in for Service Campaign '34H5', a Software Update for the DSG?  (There should be a sticker in the spare tyre well if already done.)

If it needs this which is done free, ask the technician if they hear where your rattle is coming from.
