Got to be worth a look when it lands in final form.

To be unveiled at Paris in October.

See Autoexpress for details :)

  • It would have been better if you'd merged this one with the other, it had Tarraco spelt correctly

  • Therefore a wise man buys a saloon or estate with much higher discounts to be had

  • People also buy what advertising tells them to. Never ceases to amaze me, but it must be true.

The Kodiaq for the younger generation...no options for pipe and slipper storage or head rest coat hanger to be seen here...

It has to be said, whilst I don't see many Kodiaq's on the road, those I do see are mainly driven by the grey-haired brigade :D

I'm surprised you can see their hair under the hat Silver...

Hope you don’t meet our local constabulary or fire service. 8-)

It will probably be a decent alternative to a Kodiaq but more expensive...Seat usually have better styling options too.

I've found SEAT's list prices are indeed higher than the equivalent Skoda, but the discounts are also significantly higher, which usually leads to a lower actual purchase price.

I think I should put myself in the running for the youngest Kodiaq driver at 22 :D

I've certainly had a few double takes when getting out of my one recently lol

From a practicality point of view, Skodas are better and cheaper than Seats. however Seat has a much younger image/perception. However the colour edition, sport line and scout trims does wonders for Skodas.

Because the Kodiaq has been on a market for some time, it will in the next 12 months be cheaper than the Tarracco.

  • 1 month later...

4 days until its unveiling.

Loads of people complaining online that SEAT should be focusing on delivering their current range of cars (also suffering from the WLTP debacle) before launching a new one :D

I haven't seen any with hair.....

I have hair, but it is going towards the wizard white. And you should never upset a wizard with a bear. 8-)

To be unveiled on the 18th Sept. allegedly first deliveries Q1 2019.

Confused.

Wasn't / isn't the Alhambra SEAT's first "7 seater"?

Do you really expect facts to get in the way of marketing? And I'm not surprised it's turning heads - that's one hell of a paint job :giggle:.

I think they may simply have missed out 'SUV' from that statement though.

Hardly mattered, there were Alhambra with AWD.   Actual Suburban Utility Vehicles. Diesel 140 ps, 7 years ago.

Young / Dynamic.... Sporty tastes,  so that will have made it a Sport Utility Vehicle.

The SEAT Alhambra has been around for much longer than 7 years - try 23!

The first model was a clone of the original Galaxy/Sharan vehicle - it came out in the mid 90s.

With AWD?

The current model like mine is built alongside the Sharan in Portugal.

Anyone know where and when we can watch the unveiling of the Tarraco today?

Nothing obvious on social media, perhaps SEAT UK forgot!

This picture is doing the rounds:

And we know the wheels will not be that size and the gap wheels to arches will not be as there either.

Unless the Transport Blocks left in at the PDI.

Miguel suddenly realised that he’d left his cheese grater on the plans for the new Seat 8-j

It is the new class 'Hot Lift Back,  so the inspiration is 'Micro Furnace'

& as you swing your foot trying to get the virtual pedal to work you can warm your legs.
