AdBlue Display where is it HELP

Featured Replies

HI all

I have only owned my 2015  diesel Yeti se for 3 months now and only done a couple of thousand miles in it

Now when I got it I am sure that I remember seeing the Adblue display on the Maxdot  .

I can NOT see any display now  where is it ? I have been through all the Maxdot settings but cannot find any reference to it

Have I somehow inadvertently removed it if so how do I get it back I assume it should be under the service section . or does it only display when the level is low or just been filled .

Are you sure your Yeti uses AdBlue?
Does it have an AdBlue tank in the boot?
AdBlue was fitted to Yeti's from June 2015 manufacture date.

Yes Urrell It is on the right hand side at the back of the Boot under the mat.

Thank you for replying

My 65 reg/2015 model uses Adblue and does NOT have an Adblue display, other than the warning one that appears at 1500 miles before it runs out.

As with Graham's, mine (also a 2015) has the display once you only have 1500 miles and less left. You get a warning flash up when you turn the ignition on and you can access it via the Maxidot. Once you have refilled the AdBlue tank you can't access it via the Maxidot.

If you have a read of the various AdBlue threads there are mentions of some cars having the AdBlue range always being able to be accessed via the Maxidot. I think this was not long before they stopped making them so the 2016 and 2017 models.

Perhaps the level is getting a little low and when you saw the warning you were on a slope or something as there is a sensor in the tank? Don't worry about it and keep on driving until the warning comes up.

Just topped up mine after the 1500 mile warning showed at weekend. Then got a display showing 4500mile range after filling tank. When I first got the car I remember messing about getting the range to show and I topped up with relatively small quantities once or twice prior to getting any 1500 mile warning after witnessing various ranges being shown. I then lost interest in adblue scenario till this1500 mile warning appeared. Too cold to go out and investigate again but I definitely remember bringing up an adblue mileage range at will. Yeti is 66 reg.

If you roll the knob on mine which cycles through trip distance, time, av consumption etc then range left in adblu is there always on my end of productioj car.

Once under 1500 miles left it always displays the range left on startup. Mine currently says 1300 miles left. Just bought 10lt at Tesco for a£11 to tefill this weekend

But what reg is yours Ken?

I’m going for 17 reg.  Just a guess.

I was on my tablet and the notes on the left don't display on that.

True, but one tap on ken’s profile name reveals all!

And I did say end of production car!

I think the assembly line closed only a couple of weeks after my car was built.

One is a 66 reg. and the other a 2017 reg., so as I surmised.

Why they decided to add this to the last of the builds is anyone's guess.
