Hi All, 

 

I have been lurking on this forum for a little while awaiting delivery of my new fabia.

Its been a big change for me as I have come from a Mk3 Octavia VRS TDi DSG estate which I loved but did not need a car that size anymore due to the other car in my household.

Having had two cars with DSG I went for the DSG again with the 1.0 TSi 110 engine, coming from a 2.0 diesel with 184ps I am very pleased with the response from the car, I feel having the DSG gets the best out of the TSi engine.

Coming from the Octavia I have gone a bit crazy with the options list, but I feel that these will add to my enjoyment of the car, so I have adaptive cruise control, winter pack (heated seats & washers), arm rest, auto lights & wipers, spare wheel and the 18 inch alloys 

When it came to the colour, I had a grey octavia at the time, I've had black and race blue before so in the interest of having something different I went for rallye green as I've always wanted a car this colour and I am so pleased I did as it really makes the car look different imo.

Just love rallye green but my wife can't stand it so got race blue.

the fabia looks great in rallye green  but in monte carlo trim and 18" wheels it's stunning

Don’t think you’ve gone crazy on the extras! You’re still missing many normal added benefits! Hill hold, convenience windows..unless they are standard now. Nice choices regardless and like the arm rest with that seat interior!

Hill hold is standard on dsg models, like the OPs, from what I’ve read. 

Also, my new Colour Edition has convenience windows front-only so I’d assume this would have it for at least the fronts, if not all 4 windows.  

Huge congrats and we'll done on adding options. The finance agreement for my Fabia ends in two years. I am likely to buy the same car but used and with lots of option.
