Hi guys 

 

So we just recently bought an 03 Octavia VRS estate after our other car was vandalised. It wasn’t something I was looking at, but it came up at the right money so thought would give it a go. 

 

So far it’s going ok. Got a few niggles to solve most notciabley is the speedo not working. But I’m gonna go and search the site to find that. Here’s to a many miles of happy motoring (something I did not have with my last car)

Hello Harriskat welcome along to the Skoda forum good to have you with us .

We had a Chrysler 300 touring. Left it outside our unit while I was working away. Came back to it being trashed. Both doors nearside, passenger front window. Cant rail stoved in. Bonnet peeled up. Interior damaged. Door handles broke. Nearside mirror ripped off. 

 

They did mine and 3 others. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I’d had 18 months of issues and couldn’t put any more money into it. So I’ve broke it for parts, it’s time consuming but I will get more that way than if going through insurance sadly.
