Hi guys, im going to be looking to buy 16" 5x100 7j et35 rims, standards are 16" 5x100 6.5J et43 with 205/45/16 tyres,  the rim places are saying i need a 205/45/16 tyre on them. Would i be able to fit a 215/45/16 tyre without fitment issues ? i wont mind running some small spacers if needs be. 

I run 225/45R16s on my 8" ET36 wheels, no issues. Not lowered. Not sure if the vRS is different to the elegance, but I’d be shocked if it were.

If you move from an ET43 to an ET35 this moves your wheel out by 8mm. Add another 10mm for the wider tyres and the tyre is out by 13mm ( 5mm both inside and outside). If you add spacers onto that your wheel will be out even more. The 205/45-16 fit quite o.k.
