Any one know if the adblue counter goes down in stages of 500 miles ? 

On our VW it goes down in hundreds, until you hit 1000 miles, then you get start up warnings telling you that the car won't start if the counter reaches zero

Cheers Sabzthered. I’ve done a couple of hundred miles in the car already. It had 24 miles when I picked it up. 

Does any one have any other idears? My car has just cleared the 500 mile mark and its still showing 5500 miles. Can any one conferm if it goes down in incerments off 1000 miles?

It will drop shortly, in 500 mile increments.  (sometimes over 500 miles covered, could be near 600 miles, the TDI /SCR's are the last of the great VW cheaters.)

When you fill up next time the 'range' will likely be '6,000' miles.  Time after that 6,500 miles.

 

Same car, from new, then first fill @ PDI of AdBlue, then 3rd, and each fill since has showed 8,000 mile range.

Cheers Skoffski. The car is brand new as well. Its done only done 515 miles.  

The mileage to the next refill will go up and down, depending on how the car is driven.

It will not 'go up' so start showing more range from what it is showing, it will just not drop as soon.
