Has anyone used or is using Veg oil as a fuel ? 

Hello.

 

If you engine is a CR or an older PD type then its not recommended to run veg oil as it is too "thick" and can iirc damage the fuel pumps. Even mixing with diesel i believe can cause problems with it eating the fuel lines (a definite issue with biodiesel)

On the older 1.9tdi (non pd type, found mostly in mk1) and sdi you can run it at 100% waste or straight veg oil and just smell like a chipper as you go.

1.9 is certainly not CR but might be PD.
