Todays little mod - episode 2 - vRS Side lights

Well as your all aware the vRS has the side lights as dim DRL's and un-used side lights / bulbs in the headlight clusters.......even my MOT questioned why they don't work, now I know it don't matter for that and once someone "knows" that's how they are it's not an issue.......but it's annoying those side lights sitting in there and not working, so today "hooked em up" into the factory looms / plugs and happy with the result.

Unfortunately you have to remove bumper to get the headlights out, needed to check whether they are "wired" on the inside, and they are,

it's just the vehicle loom not "pinned" in the plug, but it's easy to wire them up from the side light feed to the DRL's

So DRL's as they come......

Side lights switched ON - DRL's Dimmed

Headlights switched on - Side lights  ON - DRL's Dimmed
