Anyone going to own up to this in Audlem, Cheshire today?

Erse!

Like most Karodiaq drivers I encounter, they were probably too preoccupied with more important things like  admiring Virtual Cockpit, or adjusting something on the center console, rather than what is actually on the road in front of them.....

Note to self - bears don't swim 😄

Obviously missed this page in the owners manual. :)

In fairness it's not like floods haven't been in the news recently....................  🙄

Some people are simply clueless.

If you are on here please identify yourself and your replacement cars reg number so I can give you a wide berth.

Perhaps they didn't see the record 8" February rainfall. When I saw the picture I thought they had driven into a canal.:rain:

In the pic, they’ve got the bonnet open.  Why?

Brings a new meaning to the phrase " Dipping your headlights "

999 Operator: Can you please check and confirm the water level

Driver: Sure, I'll just pop the bonnet and check the reservoir

Looking at the twitter feed someone mentions that there's advance warning, road closure signs in place.  If that's the case then the driver should be given points on their license, fined and made to pay any incurred recovery costs.

The fire brigade might be wanting to isolate the battery?

Perhaps it's a Top Gear presenter because they have plenty of recent history for doiing similarly daft stunts. The optional snorkel was probably left in the boot just in case the driver ran out of talent.:worried:

Good point they were probably worried that the fish might get electrocuted.:worried:

I thought I’d “wade in” and suggest checking for hydro-locking, but I think you are right it’s probably a battery disconnect.

Perhaps they’re taking the opportunity to fill the washer bottle?
