I'd say this is a localised offer as the oil was still full price when I went in our local tesco yesterday evening.

Does it actually say 504/507 on those (light blue) cans?

 

Looking at website the 504/507 spec cans have a dark blue/purple label, and only available in 2L size for £16

@xman Is correct. The 2 Litre Cans are the ones showing VW / Audi to VW 504 / 507

 

The offer 4 litres is ACEA C3.

 

Best thing is pick up the container and read the back. (with gloves on.)

See if it meets the spec or not if the website does not say it does.
