Second key?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Is there any applications, hidden extras or something like this, that required the second car key?

I was searching everywhere but cannot find anything for Skoda Enyaq till now.

I am sorry... but... why?

I believe things like drivers seat position are remembered by Key.

Because when your car is on leasing, they won't provide your second key.

Some vehicles can change ownership or other functionalities with both keys needed.

weird. my lease company gave me two sets of keys. I would simply not agree on a single key deal 😕

do you have any information about that?

If Enyaqs can not remember settings for the different keys to suit what 2 different drivers might want with electric seats then that is pretty damn poor in an EV at the price they are.

but you know you have memory seats button on the side of the seats?

But not needing to even know that is lovely for those that just open a car and get in.  It is hardly the latest of tech.

I know, that's why I am interested IF we have this technology onboard. because by default we are just using a single key and keep second 'in the safe place' just in case. but if the keys remember THEIR default setting then this is a different story (but not mentioned in the manual whatsoever )

You have a car go try if your has. You have done plenty miles.

going to do as soon as I got a minute :)

Can confirm that this is the case. Keep the key in the car when saving your position -- then repeat with the other key. The seat auto adjust when unlocking.
