Yes, it depends on VIN range as to if your car if affected.

I am sure it will be this post I made earlier.

The difference is that it is described in Israel as a "recall" but in the UK it is just a "recall campaign" not a "safety recall", so there is no legal requirement on Skoda to inform owners.

My L&K falls in the affected VIN range but since I'm not the original purchaser and I didn't purchase it through a Skoda dealer Skoda UK do not know I am the owner so are unable to write to me!

With the DVLA Safety Critical Recalls VW Group / Skoda get Registered Keeper details from the DVLA to contact them.

There are times that VW Group persuade the DVLA that they will do Voluntary Recalls and no need for a SAFETY RECALL, and they have dealers with cars for sale that do not even get the Recall Action / Service Campaign / Workshop action carried out.

That checker is a bit strange. My car was purchased in Germany, but driven in Romania.

If I set the country where the car is driven to Germany, all good. If I switch to Romania, it says it should be inspected. Same VIN on both checks.

Exactly my point, this isn't a DVLA Safety Critical Recall (despite the possibility of unncesssary injury to the driver) so Skoda won't be getting driver details from DVLA.

@PetrolDave  We do not know that yet.

VW might try their usual as not safety critical and they will deal with it.

They can delay as long as the DfT / DVLA let them away with in the UK.   Or VW Germany spin it out. As has happened over the decades.

My mate has just had his BMW recalled with an airbag safety issue. I wonder how many different vehicle manufacturers are affected by this issue?

We can maybe assume that Fabia owners recieved their RECALL since 2001 on their cars.

A different kettle of worms. Or can of fish.
