B-Pillar Vinyl kit fitted. What do you think?

Featured Replies

I finally got round to fitting the B Pillar black vinyl kits to the Octy VRS today. Here are some pics. What do you think? I stuck them in place with some masking tape first to see what they'd look like, and wasn't too sure, but went for it anyway, and on they went for good.

Looks cool mate, a good mod :)

I really like that.

A simple mod but very effective.

Nice one

Cheers

I like it. Mine came with them as standard and it does make it stand out from the others (ignoring the other stickers obviously  )

Very swish - like it!

Very good & tidy. That'll only work properly with tinted windows though

i did the same to mine but used a window banner thingy and chopped it up :D

took hours

I like them. Have been thinking about getting some for my estate for a while. Might just get some now.

I suppose it pays to get the ready cut ones then as this took me less than 1 hour to do both sides. I did have two pieces left over, but assumed they would be used if the car was an estate.

Judging by the comments so far, looks like it's a thumbs up then :thumbup:

Cheers chaps

where did you get them from as mine aren't perfect and considering buying some proper ones :)

Aren't they a genuine Skoda accessory? About

They came with the car (unfitted !!), but I only just fitted them as it said to fit them in warmer temperatures. They are genuine Skoda. I can dig out a part number from the pack if it would help?

Yep, that's the ones. Mine were the 45 quid ones as I had 2 pieces left over. If anyone wants to buy the cheaper set, and you have an estate, I'll stick the other 2 in the post for you. Seems a shame to chuck'em ( might need a long envelope though )

I think the spare ones go on the inside of the B pillar so that it still looks black when the door is open.

I had six pieces in my estate set and didn't fit the two others.

Hmm, interesting. I'll check that out. I may need to revoke my offer of giving them away :o

Cheers Rob.

I have been looking at other cars (all sorts of em) driving by my house, and was surprised to notice that probably about 8 out of every 10 cars has the B Pillars in black. So instead of mine standing out, really, it's blending in with the majority!!

I also remenissed about a Capri I used to have with a black vinyl roof :( They were the in things them days (vinyl roofs, not Capri's !)

I Just bought a set from motorline cost me

i like the look of them but mines yellow so i dont think they would look that good on mine.

off topic a bit BPM what have you done to you centre lower grill? i like:)

how did you do it?
