17's on VRS with Std Suspension

Featured Replies

Would this look good or would the car look too high?

I know the ride looks high(ish) on 16's but does it look better or worse with 17's?

Any Pictures?

I don't really want to lower the car at the moment.....

Thanks

Look in the Alloys archive.

If you simply put bigger rims on then this doesnt reduce the gap due to the fact that your going for lower profile tyres.

If you went for bigger rims and bigger tyres it would marginally reduce the gap.

They'll fill the arches better but IMO, they'll only make the "too high" problem look worse. Unless you go for black or vary dark alloys. Light coloured alloys will draw the eye to the differences in the gaps.

Lower up to 25mm can be cheaper than changing the alloys.... Unless your insurance are being Rsy.
