VAG on the Fabia 2

Hey guys... struggling to find some information i need regarding using VAG com on a Fabia 2.

A friend of mine has ordered his Fabia 2 1.2 6v (3 cylinder i know... tried to make him get the 1.4 or 1.4 TDi!!) and hes very interested in seeing what he can do to the car (i.e. reprogramming certain options... window control with remote, blips for alarm set, etc etc) but i dont really have any experience at all with newer cars. Ive only ever used it on my felicia to reset my airbag light and check for faults.

Would i be able to use the same software and cable on his Fabia, and also how do i change these options... will they just be listed under the categories in the VAG-Com software??

He will be having the the trip computer as standard, but was also interested in the maxi-dot display.

Could this be added later and what features would he gain... track information etc???

And finally, will this void his warranty??? Thats the last thing we want to be doing!!
