Nurburgring 2006 Opening Times

Well everyone the public opening dates for the Ring this year have been released

So i've already suggested one weekend for a trip over,anybody else got any suggestions for another???

I'd personally recomend going in the week its much quieter and safer doing afternoon laps in the week there just the local nutters on track wheras at weekeneds and bandk holidays all the Britsih/French etc pop over to crash.

Couldn't agree more. I've been going to the 'Ring' since 1993, and regularly since 1997 and over recent years it has become manic at weekends to say the least.

I usually go by bike but did my first trip in a car during Nov 2005. The track was very very quiet and I even managed a couple of laps without seeing a single other vehicle.

I personally won't go again in mid summer and will go early (late March) and again in Nov. Something to consider maybe?

Might go and "run in" the new car in July (23rd) as thats my Birthday.

Well i'm definately going in August,weekend of the 20th.

Other than that can go almost anytime midweek or weekend depending on my shift pattern.

So open to offers,going to go 3 times again this year.

I'm hopefully going in May for the 2 day trackday,full circuit,instructors and only 100 cars.

I shall be going in June. Not sure of the date as I'm waiting to hear what date the car will be built and ready to collect from the factory

Rest assured, although it isn't my car, it will be going to the dealer for it's UK plates and tax disk with a Ring sticker on the back

Well i'll be their on the 9th and 10th of july in my Scumball vehicle as part of the Scumball rally!! should be a top laugh.
