| Ah, slight problem, just been looking at the Santa Pod Calendar it isn't a regular RWYB on Sunday, it coincides with a w/e event (Gary's Picnic) and they are running a RWYB on the side, so I'll be giving this a miss. Sunday 13th Aug is the next available date. |

| Hmm having second thoughts now, as I was looking forward to going on Sunday. I could go and show these upstart V8 Morris Minors what true 1/4 mile performance is. Well in a 16.26 sec sense that is......... |

| Well I have to say you missed the best day's running this year. The track had huge grip and the weather was great. Everyone running in the morning were setting fast times, as the track had huge grip and the air temperature hadn't risen enough to start hindering performance. I had a great day, 5 times I ran faster than my own previous personal best, and left with a new best of 16.03 secs. For a standard vRS I think that's pretty good. I tried like crazy to get into the 15's, but didn't quite get there. Next time I'll have to remove my bowling ball, spare wheel etc. I even managed to win a few races, beating a Clio 16v, Celica 1.8 16v and a remapped 150 PD Golf. Overall I had a blast, and the queues were reasonable too. Whilst there there were a lot of people running, there were no stopages for crashes or blow-ups, and lots of people in the stands were spectating. If only the bloody thunder flies had stayed away, it would have been a perfect day. Shame there was only me and Rob there, but there's always next month..... |

| had a really good day. the track preperation was superb. lots of other similar cars to run with. Got my fastest time yet see attached copy of time slip. this was a run where i got to line up with reffro. I think alot of people did there best times tat morning. I was a bit late and the track seemed to slow as the day went on. probably the heat. I was impressed with the times put out by a seat ibiza gti and audy s3. there were some lovely cars. the sweet ford fairlane was my favorite. funny thing people say to you. " your car smokes alot, what modification coases that?" I replyed " I took the engin out and put a diesel in" long live the soot.
