When I asked him about the infamous 17608 problem, he was already familiar with the possible causes and most cost-effective ways of diagnosing and solving it - "9 times out of 10 replacing the intercooler pipe fixes it - I did a couple last week". He was also willing to spend time discussing various service options, listening to my needs and symptoms I had noticed, and read my fault codes without charge.
