Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres
Posted 9 Feb 2010
Folks,
I have been offered what appears to be a good price on the new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyre for my VRS TDI PD (225/45/17). I am wondering if anybody has put them through their paces on a VRS yet and if so how do you rate them? Thanks. -
Buying a 2008 VRS TDI (PD)
Posted 12 Jan 2010
Folks,
Apologies if this has been covered but in searching I have not found a complete answer (if there is one, sorry). Basically I am about to buy a 2008 VRS TDI (PD) with 20k on the clock. I am wondering what are the main issues related to this car and what I should specifically look out for when I go to look at the car? In general are these cars reliable? Thanks in advance -
Cooling system frozen?..Advice needed
Posted 9 Jan 2010
Folks,
Started the car this morning (-11c) and then a red thermoter warning light appeard on the dash. I switiched off the car and I checked the coolant expansion bottle and all the hoses and none seem to be frozen. ( the cooolant sensor has been changed previously) Any advice on whether I should drive away, leave the car tick over and see does the thermostat open or what? HELP! Thanks in advance. -
Is there any reason NOT to buy a VRS TDI CR?
Posted 11 Sep 2009
Folks,
My heart is set on buying a 2nd hand manual VRS CR TDI. Basically I am going to look at a car this evening and I am wondering what I should look out for (if anything). My only real concern is reliability and at the moment I have nor reason to doubt the reliability of these cars. My other concern is comfort as I have a dodgy back and am concerned regarding the comfort factor. Thanks in advance:thumbup:.
(PS) I have done a number of searches on the topics above and I hope people don't mind me asking these questions.
