  1. I’m considering returning to Škoda ownership and have looked at a 2020 Superb SE L DSG 2.0tsi 190ps car with Columbus, 19” alloys, interior LED pack and heated and ventilated seats. Car has covered 14,000 miles. Price is £25,000 from a main dealer. Is this a reasonable price for this car and are there any issues I should be aware of?
  2. I had been considering a Fabia Monte Carlo for my next car but after visiting my local Skoda dealer I was shocked to discover the basic spec is so poor. Functions like cruise which should be standard these days are all extra cost. Now looking at Seat who offer much more standard equipment spec on the Ibiza for a similar price.
  3. I’ve been considering buying a 2021 SE L First Edition but I’ve read a worrying number of reports regarding this issue which are causing me to reconsider.
  4. My 15 plate Octavia SE has developed a issue with the rocker switch for the interior roof lights. It feels like the switch floats around now rather than actually switching. Placing the switch in the on and middle positions has no effect and the lights remain off and will not activate when the doors are open. I can activate the reading lights individually with the individual switches for each one. Any ideas if this is a easy fix or not, I did remove the covers to have a look but cannot see what is actually wrong with the switch or if it’s a easy part to replace. I demonstrate the switch movement from inside of the circuit board in this video. https://youtu.be/vt4hsvUAitc
