So I learned today the work's Sharan has adblue. I had no idea what it was until I got an error message.

Driving along get a brief message about adblue error, range 22000miles. Then 650miles! Looking in the book the car uses adblue, and if you drop below 600miles remaining distance you run the risk of not being able to restart the engine, even by jumpstarting, which on a bluemotion is fantastic!

So went to VW and grabbed 2 bottles. The only 2 bottles they had. But you need 6 (10 litres) to reset the system and stop it shutting the engine down.

Car's sat on the drive screaming errors about adblue low, and with a spanner symbol and the EML light on. I have to try and limp to a VW garage hoping they have some!

I now also have a new option in the MFD showing the range left of the adblue which never existed until the error message today. Seriously this is dangerous as you could get stranded very easily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now it's bonuses for anyone, and companies daring to make a profit of any kind getting peoples backs up. It seems this latest momentum of the '99%' is manly being driven by students and ethical hippies. Both of whom contribute very little financially to the state they want to look after them.

It's all getting a little boring now and as Stephen Hester has said today, is actually going to cost jobs at the bottom. Even Mr Osborne has changed his tune from last week and said how Mr Hester was essentially bullied unecessarily. But it was OK last week, as was gloating at revoking Goodwin's Knighthood!!!

Is it worth merging the ICE/Insurance forum with Gen Car chat?

There are a number of posts in ICE with very few replies, where as the car chat forum is quite active and likely the main stopping point for ICE & insurance questions anyway.

Have to say it motored well and pulled well. Not sure on the rear light area which looks very American, looked quite nice in the flesh.

Lots of piano black plastic though so a bugger if you get it scratched.

After todays boiler issues looking at a worcester Bosch greenstar regular boiler to replace what we have.

Current boiler is 11kw, so should I go for their 12kw model or.would a 15kw be wiser for a 3 bed townhouse?
