  1. Help, CAMBELT

    Hi all. Long time no posts but now have aquestiop for all you experts 🙂. I have a 66plate Yeti SE 1.2 TSI that has given me pefect service and peace of mind. It has just been serviced,MOT'd and brake fluid changed. BUT, I have been told that the CAMBELT must be replaced at a cost of £550! It came as a bit of a shock after just paying £300 for the service ect. I don't distrust the dealership but it does seem a bit excessive, or am I losing more of my marbles than I thought?🤔😒 I don't usually keep my cars this lomg but I haven't been able to find a car that sits all my needs a well as the Yeti(s) have. Any thoughts or advice please?

    I had this on my first Yeti and it turned out to be a poor driving habit on my part! Without realising it I had my resting on the brake pedal as soon as I corrected this the problem disappeared. Fred
