  1. Hi and apologies if it's been asked before. Driving on the motorway earlier, lost power and a few seconds later the glow plug light was flashing. Also 'Start-Stop Error' showed on the display. Was able to get off the motorway and get home safely. Called the RAC today and they were unable to get out to my location so they sent a sub-contractor out on their behalf but they just recovered the car. The guy reckons it could be injector fault?.....I have no knowledge on these things. I suppose the only way is to get a diagnostic reader. Basically a rough idea of what to expect and approx costs to fix? Thanks in advance I'm in a 2014 Rapid 90bhp p.s. When I checked the car a short time ago the heat plug light was not flashing
  2. Oh, I wasnt aware of a known fault. Will have to have a dig around the other threads 👍🏻
  3. The autospark didn't really look. Into too much. I just drove up with no appointment so i guess he was busy with other stuff. He did however suggest buying a whole new fuse box from the breakers and a new heating regulator. Then he went on to say a 30amp fuse is too much. Reckons by the state of the blown fuse, i was lucky the car didn't catch fire. My knowledge on this kind of thing isn't great. I will now check for any corrosion as you mentioned and see about getting another 30amp fuse.
  4. Hi, sorry if this has been asked before. Heater fan isn't working on any number. Called to an auto spark and he investigated the fuses. Fuse number 32 well blown, in fact, almost melted with a big black burnt bubble on it. The fuse was 30amp, he changed it to 15amp. Less than 10mins of me leaving, the fan stopped working again. Any ideas? 2014 Rapid. Thanks in advance
  5. As above, sorry if this has been covered but could not find search results. Thanks in advance.
