Where do I start?!
28 January 2012 - 21:53
OK, my car is currently in a bit of a state. So, I`v been thinking its time I invest in some decent cleaning gear, although i`m very much clueless in all things car cleaning, as you`ll see in a second but i`m keen to learn. So, first of all, have I got the following process right;
Rinse
Snow foam?
Rinse
Shampoo
Rinse
Polish
Wax/Seal
Is that the right kind thing? I know you dont snow foam it every time, nor polish it every time.
Secondly, advise for which products are best? I have a couple of buckets, wash mitt but that is about it, I know its a personal thing, some will prefer others etc but anyone with some pointers would be great
Thanks

312mm Brakes
27 January 2012 - 11:34
Got for sale a set of 312mm brakes, complete with calipers, carriers, and used discs and pads. They were from a Octavia vrs so are in the original skoda green, still come up nice and clean after a wash.
They are still on my car at the moment, once my new ones arrive they'll be off and ready to send/collect hopefully next weekend.

What colour to paint brakes?
27 January 2012 - 11:06
Got me some new brakes, not sure what colour to do them since the colour match for the vrs green is rather hard to come by! Any ideas? Might just do them red or black if not . .

Using vagcom on another make?
27 January 2012 - 10:55
Just a quick question, is it possible to use vagcom to read and clear faults on other makes cars? My uncle has a E46 3 series which needs service and airbag light resetting was wondering if I could use my vagcom to do it?
Cheers
