Any other experts on here have an opinion one way or the other on the new system? I am not feeling the love for it and finding it a pain to look for questions to answer.

Just managed to score a Hunter 4 wheel alignment for the 4x4 courtesy of AutoStop of Porth Closest ones to Bridgend but you can search all over!!:D I always thought the rear end was not adjustable but turns out it is :D

Definately worth the extra compared to the butchery that normally gets passed of as "Tracking"

what is the going rate for Mk1 Octavia vrs alloys? I need some new tyres for mine and trying to decide if it would be better to sell them on and get some different ones?

OK, I have had a series of knocks/bangs/clunks etc and am at the stage now where I am not sure what to chaange next :(
I have had various noises for the best part of 12 months but as of today I have just one noise left....
when braking hard and then when pulling away I get a knocking/clunking from what seems to be the passenger footwell, the passenger says they can feel it "under" their feet.

I have over the past 12 months changed:

last MOT -both front lower arms with new bushes (lemforder parts) - checked today and all still good
-both front balljoints checked - today and all still good
xmas time -passenger side gearbox/engine mount changed when the O2M box went in
couple of months ago -droplinks - checked today and all still good
last week - both front top mounts and OSF wheel bearing
today -both of the ARB Bushes (same part number but looks like the ARB did have sleeves as well which are shot.)

after changing the ARB Bushes today - even without the sleeves in place the knocking over bumps/holes seems to be gone :D (if the sleeves are missing I am guessing it needs a new ARB?)

checked that all accessible bolts were nice and tight, no sign of metal to metal contact that I could find.
Am I left with just the Subframe bush or is there something else that can cause a clunk in the passenger footwell? dont want to spend the time and effort to remove the subframe if its not the cause?

any suggestions folks?

Can a mod confirm that my freedom has expired and that it's not a fault
