Hi All, I have just noticed on my netbook that there are old versions of VCDS stored on there, so when you upgrade to a new version does it still use the old files or do you get a complete new install, and if I delete the old files will I lose my scan data as well ? so whats the best way of backing up my scan data before deleting files. cheers - Stuart

B) I did post this once but I cannot find it now, I have an Octavia Scout and my original tyres are getting low, Dunlop sp sport 01,225/50/R17 94W, It looks as though I could get about 25,000 or 3 years motoring out of a set of tyres, do tyres nowadays have softer compounds as you could normally get 40-50 tho out of a set, and all 4 of mine are wearing at the same rate (4x4) which is going to work out expensive. What would be a good mileage tyre for a Scout and what have people had out of theres ? cheers - Stuart

Hi All, I have a FL Octavia Scout and the original tyres are about 3/4 down with about 20k on the clock, trouble is I will have to buy 4 tyres at once (ouch), what do taxis use for getting the maximum life from the tyres ? otherwise with the mileage they do in a year it would cost a fortune in replacements, are tyre compounds softer nowadays as tyres used to last 40-50k on some of my old cars. cheers - Stuart.
