  2. Ues oem oils gearbox oil part number is G055 512 A2 takes 1.8L The mechatronics oil part number is G 004 000 M2 takes 1L The drain plugs are on the bottom of the gearbox m14 for the gearbox one and m6 for the mechatronics one i think can't remember Need to remove the battery and air box and dust cap at the back of the gearbox by the selector unit and the one by the starter motor for the mechatronics there is a fill plug for the mechagronics but you will need to remove the starter motor to access it how I change my oil I got a one liter bottle with a screw cap and a long hose and filled it that way it's not a hard job but you'll need to take a couple hours to do it right but oils a bit slow going in the gearbox and the mechatronics unit
  3. The side lights in the headlights on the fab Rs don't work as DRL are the side lights they dim when you turn on the side lights
  4. Yes definitely wrong shock absorber is too far into the Hub the bolt is meant to go through the hole then pinch the Hub to the shock absorber and they're used Old Bolt which is a no-no and it's a stretch Bolt quite highly torqued to 60nm and then angle-tighten 90° i would take it back get them to fit a new shock absorber and bolt and do the job correctly
  5. when i replaced my steering wheel all i needed was the steering wheel the air bag to fit it and correct wiring loom for the airbag then it a straight fit to the car no coded needed
  6. you've got two real options a repair kit were you get the plug and wiring or a new wiring loom from skoda i went for new wiring loom on both doors as mine had been repaired before two to three times to repair the wiring with the repair kit you solar the new wiring to the old and heat shrink the repair and test
  7. It was a long time ago when I had this car and I think I've got bumperprotector from superskoda the bumper protector never interfered with electronic boot at all it always opened and shut with problems at all sorry I can't be more helpful
  8. Yes green when lights are on and orange when the doors are locked
  9. Had this happen to me on MOT lucky the tester send to me if i had 2 blub and put them in he wouldn`t fall it. So had to explain to him about the DRL are the sidelight as they dim it pass in the end but lesson learned for me so now i take it to my dealer for MOT and it pass ever year with no problems
  10. On the vrs with chrome headlight there are 2 H7 blubs main and dip on the vrs/ monte carlo with black headlight there is 1 H7 blub to do main/dip
  11. For a OEM turbo actuator £300 is not to bad as for recommend suppliers i've always used skoda-parts.com for OEM parts as there cheaper then dealer most of the time but you got to walt 10 or so days for delivery. Euro car parts are not to bad on most things and there ebay or go to the original part maker usually they are cheaper then skoda
  12. When I did both my front door wiring looms on my fab MK2 I got new ones from my dealer £190 with VAT for both O/S & N/S looms not to bad really. There was some wiring looms kit's in eBay but they looked a bit cheap to me
  13. Only place I found one for my fabia MK2 vRS was dealer at £390
  14. The fuses you want are 57/58 both 15A in fuse box driver side under steering wheel. But it more likely to be the new headlight switch as they come with front and rear fog lights and the vRS as only rear fogs on the switch remove the new switch and put the old back and see if the headlights works
  15. The downpipe and cat is in one and the only place I could find one was Skoda dealer and it's not cheap £1.250 +vat
