  1. do you have the part number by any chance?
  2. no i haven't gone back at it yet, as its not being driven much anyway with lockdowns etc. and anytime i have driven it since been ok interesting about the brake pedal switch, i might do that, do you know the part number by any chance?
  3. youtube videos not quite the same, the glowplug only flashes for a second when the throttle stops working then goes out again, both the videoes had flashing all the time, and they would probably have faults stored if they scanned em
  4. Same here it is very intermittent haven't had it for ages then four times on Saturday hence I went looking and found this post Driving along and it's like there is no accelerator pedal, engine goes down to idle as the car slows Car stopped and pedal does nothing Turn car off and on and it starts working again, also turn off and on while rolling/coasting fixes it Don't think it's engine as mine is different Moorside you said you replaced the pedal did you do the basic adaptation sequence in vcds after? Wonder if that would help I had master cylinder changed a while back for a different issue but don't know if the brake switch was done at the same time The mystery continues... Dallan
  5. I've used vcds and never any errors stored after it happens so it's most likely a physical issue Never thought of brake light switch it does seem similar to left foot braking now you mentioned that
  6. I have this same issue with cega engine and can't figure it out either It's as if the pedal was unplugged, turn car off and on and it will work again for sometimes a few weeks before happens again, today had it 4 times
