Powerpass/public charging
I signed up for the 9.99 contract when I went to France in June and the only other time I've really used my powerpass card was when I went again in August. The money I've saved on those two trips compared to the full price ionity (let alone petrol) have more than made up for the cost of a year.

280 losing coolant
As above, It sounds like the water pump. I had one go during the main lockdown. Looking around it's a relatively common fault on the chain driven vag engines, not just the 280.

Sportsline Fuel Consumption
With my sportline 280 (206kw), I used to manage around 31 mpg, so about 9l/100km. And that was mainly motorway driving, I almost only used 99 RON petrol in it as well. With the fuel Consumption, I don't trust them as they are all done in perfect laboratory testing, so they are not accurate to real life driving.

Tidal, CD sound, Master sound, Hi-Fi, Bluetooth and CarPlay
Carplay wireless is sent to the car by a WiFi connection, so the bandwidth is greater than Bluetooth streaming. You can still use the cable option for carplay too. Another option you could use is to have the audio files on a memory stick and plug that into one of the usb-c ports, but if you only stream, you are limited to the bandwidth of the WiFi connection, as well as your phone signal and the quality of the music on the app.

Good News
To be fair I never did the strobe light thing. I did put blue and red lights in a volvo grill and cover the sides with yellow squares for a road trip once. The problem is when your missus is now a copper, you need to be a bit more straight laced.

Good News
Ooh, I don't know about that. I don't think I'll do much more than a colour coded badge on the outside. It's not as if you can remap it (yet), or even really use vagcom to do anything interesting (my dongle does not work with current cars either). I'd like to put a transparent blue wrap over the crystal face, but that's just asking to get pulled over.

Myskoda app. not working on two seperate iphones
I don't think you can register 1 car to 2 accounts. Why you are unable to use the same login on 2 phones on the other hand, I'm not sure.

Useful part numbers/accessories.
That is for the 100kw/125kw charging option if you did not order it from the factory. It is apparently a software update to the charging circuits. I'd guess the price would be the same as the factory option.

Remove ACC Radar Cover?
This bit sounds like utter nonsense and that they were just trying to give you a reason rather than just saying 'i dont know'. Having the wheel alignment done should not affect any of the cars electronic systems. The ACC uses radar to judge the distance, it has nothing to do with the wheels alignment. Its more likely a small knock like a pothole jarring the car, or something software related caused it to go out of calibration.

Useful part numbers/accessories.
After see the accessories and modifications thread, I thought why not have a sticky thread of part numbers or links to parts and accessories that could be useful to other owners and hopefully save the same question being asked again and again. The good stuff from the accessories catalogue would be good too. Higher rate charging part number for the Enyaq (not sure if Skoda uk is set up for it yet). 5LA 054 831 | for ENYAQ iV60 5LA 054 831A | for ENYAQ iV80 Licence document with activation key Rear centre storage cubby from the family pack plus (fits behind the centre console) 5LA 864 051 4PK Black front badge with painted background (race blue shown. Variable boot floor boot cover 5LG 861 411 Rear seat trim piece to adjust variable boot height. 5LG 868 077 Does anyone have any others? (Sleep package headrests, rear bumper protector alternatives, massive screen protector, etc)

No Tools
The 21 inch wheels have self sealing tyres apparently, so some of the tools are not needed. The ones are in the car should be underneath the boot floor at the back of the boot. I can't help you with the app, but if you have the heat pump you just need to look under the bonnet. There is a sticker at the front with the refrigerant used by the aircon. If it says R1234yf, then it is just standard aircon. If it says R744 than you have the heat pump fitted.

Electric itch...
Colin, I was in a similar boat to you. I don't need to move on my superb, I can afford to keep it, but I do 15,000 miles a year and in a superb 280, that's over £300 every 4 weeks at current prices. Saving £3900 a year just in petrol is a no brainer, especially as I rarely get to drive the superb like it should be. Yes my electricity will go up and the payments for the car are more, but I'm still saving when those are taken into account.

S3 Superb 4x4 270 petrol vs 190 tdi..... Thoughts?
Just to clarify. I moved from a mk2 octy vrs to the superb. And for a while I expected it to be the same, probably as I was seeing the superb as a bigger golf r, which it definitely is not.

S3 Superb 4x4 270 petrol vs 190 tdi..... Thoughts?
I've got the original 280 and tbh the only time I notice the power is when I'm overtaking. The superb really doesn't handle like a hot hatch, it's a barge thats better suited to the motorway than twisty roads and if you're used to an octy vrs, you will be dissapointed for a while because of it. The power is nice to have when its needed but at 155.9p for a litre of super unleaded and 30mpg it's expensive to run as a daily driver. Mine costs me over £300 a month in petrol, and I probably get less than 400 miles to a 65 litre tank (When full it gives me a range of 425).
