  1. Direct from heko but before brexit! Which I presume is the reason for the price hike, although I may be wrong
  2. They weren’t that much when I bought mine last year... that rates as ‘very expensive!’
  3. Try heko they have them for the Kamiq. Not sure what the total cost will be..

Steel wheels and winter tyres are available in the uk. I got my dealer to supply a set when I bought my Kamiq last year. Can’t remember what I paid, but I got a deal as I was buying the car at the same time...
  5. My dealer is in central Scotland... as a further update, since I had the camera changed there have been no faults with the system. Then again, I haven’t driven it much due to lockdown.
  6. From the lack of responses, mine must have been an isolated fault. Dealer had it back, replaced the camera and all has been well over the past couple of weeks, so it seems the problem is solved. Still don't like or want lane assist, but turning it off every time I start the car has become routine.
  7. Is anyone else having frequent lane assist errors? My Kamiq has done about 6k miles since I picked it up in January. It is now back in the garage for the 3rd time for attention to the lane assist system. It has been re-calibrated at least once and has had the emergency telephone re-call done. Now, I am not a fan of the system as installed in this car. I think it is far too intrusive, lacks accuracy on single track and narrow roads and cannot recognise when straightening a series of bends in a road so I switch it off on start-up and do not use it in normal driving. That being said, the car has given me Lane assist faults at regular intervals, sometimes switching on and off clears it but the most recent fault has been "Lane Assist Unavailable" which has not cleared. After consultation with Skoda UK the garage is about to replace the radar unit in the grill even though I thought the system was run though the camera. The dealer has twice given me a Kamiq as a courtesy car (the same one on both occasions) and I have seen the same error appear on its dashboard and cleared it by re-starting. So, I have experience of 2 Kamiqs, both have lane assist errors. What I would like to know is if this is a common fault that others have or am I just being unlucky. Or, does constantly switching the system off create the error? Over to you..
  8. No details of the errors in the letter... my Kamiq kept on producing emergency telephone and lane assist errors. It had “a module” replaced last week. I have no idea what module as I was not given any paperwork! Watch out, if it is the same as mine you will need to get both sets of keys re-programmed. My garage failed to tell me this until I was about to collect the car and so I have to go back to get the second set done. So that would be.a 90 mile round trip if I didn’t happen to be going past tomorrow morning. I have barely used the car since the repair so don’t know if it has fixed anything. A couple of days away up north may reveal success or failure. Amusingly I was give a 70 reg 1.5dsg Kamiq as a courtesy car for the 2 days mine was in. It threw a lane assist error twice in the 2 days... must be my magnetic personality that creates the fault!
  9. Is this because of lane assist and emergency telephone errors?
