Welsh Motorshow 2007 in Cheptsow

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in having an area at the Chepstow Motorshow this year.

I went last year and has a really good day out. Apart from all the arenas etc there was an area where car clubs/groups were together (including the Seat boys).

Just thought it might be a bit of fun as Skoda's are generally seen as a bit of a joke where as we would have a trick or two up our sleeves!

May even be a chance to bring in some more Brisky members too.

If anyone is interested let me know and I'll look into it.

I tried to get my local car club down here going, but it never got going. I would be interested as it's only 90 minutes from me.

What type of cars are you wanting at the motor show???

Are you asking for just VRs's or a variety of the Skoda Range???

I have a standard 52 reg Black Magic L&K Octavia, with all the Tan Leather Interior!!!

Looks fantastic for a standard car when clean, but I pressume you want more show cars, dont you!!!

Might have to pay a visit, but at nearly 200 miles, its a bit of a trek, so will have to stay over for at least the night before, so i can make sure my car is cleaned in time, and im there in time!!!

On the RPM tour we stayed at quite a nice hotel a few miles outside Chepstow.

Yeah, was at the racecourse. The 'club' area was all concreted out to the left side of the main stand - looked like a parking section I think and there were long lines of clubs so quite a few cars about.

I'll try to find out how to get an area but if anything would be worth it just for getting some of the different Brisky groups together.....will keep you posted!

I've just called the organisers of this year's event. They are forwarding on my request and I will get a call back and an information pack sent out.

I could probably make is seing as i live there :p

And it is wales!!

Also i could show you guys a nice run from chepstow to abergavenny, its one of the most popular routes for bikers in the summer, and its how i make my fronts last 6-7k every day :p

Right, another update....

Chased them again today as they hadn't come back to me without any proper information and they have promised a call back (again!)

For those that don't know, Chepstow is in Monmouthshire which is Wales now (but wasn't always, I can remember maps which would say Enland Wales and Monmouthshire).

Will there be bars and restaurants etc ? If so I'll come - I've been to the races there and it's nice.
