Great meet and great weather...... Even the missus enjoyed herself

Some good pics there chaps....... Just makes me want an octy vRS even more. Nice to see a few more Furbies there today though.

Chris & Uncle B...... You have PM's............ Also, Chris where did you get the chrome door handles from that you have on the Furby???? The missus likes em and was wondering where to get them from.

Cheers

Dave.

Hi All
It was sooo hot yesterday.
I am sorry I was not as talkative as I ususlly am
I was out the night before with my daughter and we was late in bed.
The sun did not help and my sat nav taking me to the back of beyond.
God knows where she took me , but it wide enough for 1 car again
Oh well I got back ok anyway and a better way than I came.
It was good to meet you finally Chris , although I was not all there yesterday.
I am sure we will meet again at another meet.Your Mrs did seem a bit warm there.
Uncle Bulgaria , it was good to chat and I will keep you informed on all the progress.
The black Octy did look good.
Sorry I did not get to see it.
Blimey I think we need another meet and I promise I will not go burning the candles at both ends the night before.
Sarah

Well i asked you which way to go for a more scenic drive then set off and relised that i hadn't said goodbye and thanked you for your hospitality but your suggestion was good as it was a nice run across the A59 think i got home by about 8:30ish which wasn't too bad, look forward to the next meet

A good meet? Ive not been to one before. It seemed to go very well. Some great cars, great people, great hospitality (Thanks Antony) I now know what my next car will be in a couple of years time. An Octy vRS (Diesel of course). My wife is in the background saying "Thanks a lot"!!

PS:
Any ideas for the next meet would be welcome

There is always the Old Post Office pub, just immediatly off the J38 of the M1.

Tuesday night could be quite interesting as its one of the busiests times. Gets loadsa Ch@vs in there 1.2 V8 Big Boar Bake Bean Tinned Battle Bus Clio's.

Wonder what they'd make of a gang of Skoda's dropping in.

Good idea Paul
It is a bit closer to me too.
In fact I could go straight from work to there so that sounds good.

I'd be up for that, bit further for me to travel than to the Fox but I can't have it easy all the time!
I won't be providing the butties next time tho, they wouldn't stay on the plate for long on the drive down

I haven't made it to a meet yet, the Post Office sounds okay. It's a bit of a trek after work from Scarborough , but at least it's easy to get to.
