Cheers for that. I'm on the UK-MKIVs group buy for the pukka Ross-Tech cables, so that should sort it in future

I have borrowed sat nav, so all being well I will be able to make it, unless TomTom wants to take me through a river or up a mountain instead.....

The postcode is spot on for the pub Loz, so you'll have no trouble with Mr TomTom. Worked fine on mine last month. Off the M62, turn left and it's a straight road (well, actually fairly wiggly in places, but you know what I mean! )

Tell me about it , that bloody road! Went to meet Chris there the Sat after the last meet, to get some bits. Came round the first bend, where there's a layby on both sides, to find a bloke doing a 5-point turn in the middle of the road in his Astra van, on his phone!! - cue heavy braking and heading for the nearside layby! So you'll probably see some remnants of my tyres on your way too...

Oh, and take care as you leave the M62 junction. It's a fairly short sliproad, ending with a T-junction, complete with cattle grid! Not really what you expect the first time you leave there.

Question is - was that before or after the :-
  • Factory xenons
  • Sunroof
  • Cruise control, a la Stu
  • Eibach Pro-Kit springs, with Koni FSD dampers
  • Jabba rear ARB
  • Uprated front bushes (Cupra to the rear of front wishbone, Powerflex to the front)
  • Green panel filter
  • PD160 intake
  • Front mudflaps
  • OEM headlamp protectors
  • Osram Diadem indicator bulbs all round
  • Dension IceLink+
  • Nokia CK-7W BT carkit
  • Interior map lights replaced with Philips BlueVision bulbs (W5W fitment)
  • S2000 stubby aerial
  • Aero wipers, front and rear
  • Private plate (not the one pictured )
  • Briskoda sticker!
Happening:
  • Facelift rear lights
  • 312mm front brake upgrade, definitely with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Disc choice undecided
    Sachs uprated "organic" clutch
  • Philips X-treme H7 main beam upgrade
  • Philips BlueVision sidelight upgrade
In other wardys - is the car better now in such circumstances or not

It was before Val. And clearly, the suspension elements would have only been relevant here!

Oh, and perhaps the 312mm brakes, but I've not collected those yet

So, in conclusion, yes, the car is now undoubtedly more adept at avoiding moronic Astra drivers.

HTH,
Steve

P.S. Where's your entry in 'Member's Cars' anyway?
