I have a good idea (appologies for late reply, given that I started this thread! he he he ) what about we all meet up somewhere near Cortonwood (By-pass roads from M1 J36 or a Junction which is nearest to the majority of us, and go for a drive to the cat n fiddle (stocksbridge-woodhead pass, then falk of to right as if going to glossop. I know the way if everyone want's to follow. you 4wd octavia lot will love the tight corner exits.)

Fantastic bends, great scenery.

The Cat N Fiddle is a very very popular car club meet up point, due to its location on seriously nice roads.

I know ClioSport goes to Cat N Fiddle for a drive/meet once a month! very popular place to go. Very Twisty roads out that way, popular with Bikers in the summer.

I guess it depends on what everyone wants from the meet...

I'm quite happy with a meet n some karting. Not keen on using them roads in January icey conditions!

C & F is a regular Brisky meet about quartely iirc, so no reason not to do both quite fancy the karting myself for a bit of a change. and in Jan severe risk of ice and snow over C & F, good for 4X4 octy's bad for krapy handling furbs.
