| Airfield Training Day Just fallen over this site on the web http://www.carlimits.com/ Go to Airfield They are based at North Weald. If you can get a group of 4 cars its £120 for a day on the airfield with an instructor & you are all kept far enough apart so theres no fear of hitting anyone else. Thought it might be fun & also a way of discovering the limits of the car & driver, especially for us track novices.

| BRISKODA Staff | Liked the sound of this but I must point out that its £120 each. Does have tuition though. I wonder how much they would do it for, say 10 or more? Jon mentioned a track day and hiring the track for the day cost somewhere in the region of £1k so for 20 car £50 ain't bad. I reckon we could get 20 Briskodians along for something like this especially if it was for Skodas only.

| Agreed it is £120 each but course is a max of 4 people for a day with an instructor. My thoughts were a days tuition to get "good habits" would be worthwhile for some people before you unleash yourself on a track. Also you arent going to have to worry about anyone else, Armco barriers or racing other club members. The only additional cost would be tyre wear I did a beginers day at Thruxton & learnt so much in the 3 laps with the instructor that to be honest I would rather have done more laps with him. Does anyone know of anybody who has done this course, aparently they were known as 1st Lotus until fairly recently. Stuart. PS At £50 Im up for a track day as well
