| BMW driver.. pmsl where i work, weve got a contractor in at the moment... 23 yr old gimp who drives a BMW 325i.... and is very protective over it and thinks it is the best car in the world.. he just dont get it that a skoda might be faster and more powerful... he needs putting out of his misery. ![]() ps, the stereotypes for BMW drivers seem to mostly be true with this guy! ![]() |

| Briskodian | Re: BMW driver.. pmsl Well, TBH, if I'd had a BMW 325i at 23 years old I'd have been fair glowing as well and I doubt very much that I'd have been disparaged by any comments from a Skoda driver. That said, why would you want to make him feel bad by telling him what he's missing out on? He'll learn, as they say ![]() Mo |

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl He may be right - just point out to him that the Fabia is just as fast as the Veyron though - plenty of threads on here to back that up ![]() ![]()

| Briskodian | Re: BMW driver.. pmsl BMW drivers are p r i c k s. well the ones I see on the road are. im sure some are very nice. who cares about speed and how fast the car is...being a skoda owner/driver will make me a better person...if being a BMW driver turns you into a selfish w**ker then id rather drive a slow skoda. rant over ![]()

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl Each to their own, it's the new repmobile and as such many are driven by young, arrogant salespeople - the same could have been said about Cav SRis and the like years ago. When I looked at my Furby I looked at the 3 series but I really couldn't justify paying double for a car that (In my opinion only) does nothing better - and stupid as it sounds I really couldn't live with the badge.

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl Tinkerbell on here drives a BMW (i think) and she is far from being the stereo typical BMW driver, though i've never met her, i have spoken to her and she is very friendly and not up herself.

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl How old a BMW? A 1989 or 1990 325i would be quite nice if one could find one with less miles on it than starship enterprise. A nice one of those would be a car someone had spent some time and effort working on and appreciated the amount of effort that goes in to making it. I assume a new one, if so, then yes, a nice car i'm sure. The sort of car you could have a conversation in a 90mph without raising your voice other than to exclaim "goodness isn't that M5 fast! He must have had it chipped!" J.

I wouldn't class myself as a p***k, a w****r or even selfish for that matter, or are you just referring to the male drivers of BMW's? I, personally, like fast cars and driving them doesn't make you a bad person either. It makes me wonder how many people you actually know who drive a BMW; perhaps you don't mix in those sorts of circles, having driven a 1.2 Clio and all that (I think my brush has just come out too )

Has he driven the M5? There is no comparison, let alone it being as fast ![]()

As mentioned before about what car people would choose between the two.. correct the beemer would be "the one" BUT because i aint an accountant... or contractor lol, and drive 80 miles a day, a beemer is a bit too rich for me. over the last week ive heard every skoda joke under the sun from him, and he actually refuses to park his car next to mine ![]() its a 02 reg so think that makes it a E46? so 325= 190odd bhp altho his being the msport is chipped and has a turbo as well..... hmm, think he under-estimates my car knowledge haha Last edited by Neo_VR; 28-04-2006 at 20:10. | |

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl In my small amount of just over 3yrs of driving ive NEVER been let out by a BMW driver, male or female Never. And i can say that i beat a M3 off the line the other week. (he was trying too as he over took later on double whites) Maybe i surprized him. Back to the point though Who has been let out by a BMW driver???

i'll happily bet all 3 of my cars and the car that i'm buying next week to say that your fabia vRS cannot beat an M3 off the line if it was actually racing.( when i say M3 i mean a proper modern one not a knackered out old banger M3 ![]()

| Re: BMW driver.. pmsl Well i was surprised to say the least but it did, maybe he wasnt 100% ready for the lights but it did, It was slightly uphill too. Would this effect the M3 and it was a new one, had a posh blonde fake tanned bimbo in to match the tit! driving it.
