Company car drivers

Who has a company car then? What is it and if it is a skoda, what else could you choose from?

I reckon skoda will make good inroads with the new octavia.Tempt people from the usual stuff and I reckon fleet managers will know a bargain and sesible buy when they see it.

Only have one company car driving friend who has a 130 pd superb.Still gets some stick though.Seems like company car people are reasonably tough nuts to crack

My car expenses are all paid for (except the actual purchasing of the vehicle which is mine) so I could pretty much have and run (within reason) what I want.I love my Octy though

Mine is a company car.

As to what I could have, anything I wanted, it's my company. It's a depreciation thing

As for mods, my car develops all sorts of problems (it's a Skoda you know ) which means it needs new suspension, the ECU required "diagnosis" the exhaust needed replacing with a stainless steel one (but I did economise by not replacing the CAT), shame the turbo went bang (you mean it was a smaller one as standard and I bought the wrong replacement ) the pads and disks seemed to wear out quite quick as well and needed replacing too

I have a company car, i chose skoda because of the big boot and cost, oh and because it upsets all the big boys in there expensive toys. I also have the choice of what car i have opted for the octy over the A4.

Well I am a fleet controller

Well I am a fleet controller for a car rental company so i can take any car witch won’t be hired for a few days for last week I have been driving the New Opel Astra GTC I like it.
In Ireland we tave a tax here called Benafit and Kind aka B&K, witch means if you want a company car you pay 30% of the value of the car you drive so it would make sence to take a Octavia because your not going to get a another car like it price and size.

I opted out of a company car, took the allowance so I get to choose it also works out better too against the tax charges for company cars.

I had a budget given to me of 17k, had to be a diesel estate.

Looked into Pug 307SW, Focus, Astra etc etc. Nothing comes close to the Octavia for size, price and equipment levels. extra pats on head for only spending Ł15,600 on an Elegance too.

Just wishing my life away til the end of July which is the rumoured delivery date and I can get rid of this Astravan

Ok then Smart **** With the current no vat offer it does bring the C5 down into my price range but, it's still a Citroen. I've never liked any Citroen i've ever been in. I think it's due to the Xantia my dad used to have.

Mine too is a company car. The lease company doesn't mind modifications as long as the vehicle can be returned in its original state. As I intend to buy it at the end of the lease, no problem there!

And my contribution to the car is less than my insurance bill would have been. Happy days

My Octy vRS is a company car.

It was close call between that and a 2.0 Subaru Legacy 'Sports Tourer' - which I test drove but just couldn't find the 'sport' bit however hard I tried (although I did love the inside & styling)

There were already 5 Octavia vRS's on the fleet - one of which I borrowed for a weekend and that was it - Sold!!! :

One of our directors has just sold his Jag and ordered an Octavia II so they are finding their way in as 'accepted' company cars now

One of our customers offers it's employees a choice of two makes. Vauxhall and Skoda.

Apparently the Skoda drivers think they made the right choice. The vauxhall drivers don't

I have just ordered one as a company car and it raised a few eyebrows and a few s******s from the other reps. We get a choice of cars, as we buy the outright and run them into the ground. In our fleet we have 4 Mazda 6's 1 Avensis 1 Renault Scienic and a Soon to be Octavia II 2.0 fsi Elegance.
Cant wait for first sales meeting when I turn up in new car.Think everyone will want to testdrive.Think it will change a few minds.Roll on July when mine is due.

I hope you like it. Based on my experience you are going to have it for a long time if you run them into the ground
