Good choice / bad choice?

Driving home from work the other day, I saw a black Honda Jazz and thought to myself, 'There's something not quite right there...' Normally I wouldn't say that about the the Jazz (any car that can avoid looking too garish in metallic pale pink must have got something right on the styling front!), but in black it just looked, well, wrong.

Knowing that the members on here have something of a love/hate relationship with yellow Fabias, and also thinking about how when I was ordering my last car (Megane Coupe), I was happy to get one in yellow, but wouldn't have dreamed of getting a green one, has anyone else seen a car in a particular colour, and just thought 'Ooh, no! Don't like that...'?

Or perhaps you've seen a car in a colour that you wouldn't normally see, and thought, 'You know what? That works a treat.'

Discuss...

Re: Good choice / bad choice?

Must admit I think either Octy or Furby vRS in yellow just looks wrong to me. Just does not suit the car at all. Cant put my finger on why - it suits Seat's and Fiat's, but not Skoda's.

Re: Good choice / bad choice?

I once saw an Audi TT in Easyjet orange. It was parked in the easyjet car park, but it looked horrid

Fair enough, shows we all have different tastes - I actually hate the SEAT yellow, which is why SWMBOs Beezer is Silver, but like the Skoda yellow Personanly, I can't stand black on the majority of cars - to many people its cool but to me it just looks boring / dull and never shows off the shape of the car

Re: Good choice / bad choice?

"Easy Jet Orange" is actually an official colour of the special edition TT.

I saw one on the M40 and it looks truely awful.

My boss has a Pink TVR tuscan - A colour that looks great on that car but imagine a Vectra/Mondeo/Octavia in the same.

As yellow goes, I think Octavia's look good, in the same way the 90's Volvo 850's did.

Re: Good choice / bad choice?

I Have seen Dayglo Yellow Ford Mundano's knocking about........I really wanna know which Bell End at Ford came up with that one! And then which numpty's bought 'em from New?????????

As For Yellow.........I think VW Nugget Yellow siuts My C down to the Ground and Porka Speed Yellow and Mitsi's Dandelion Yellow are both Spot on and suit the cars perfectly!

But Skoda Yellow is too pale IMO, if it were darker it would be class!
