Trouble is the price hike is not only to do with the oil refinary and the forecourt taking their share, Mr Gordon "2 JAGS" Brown taxes fuel heavily, this is where the real problem lays.

Tesco in Peterborough nicely hasn't dropped prices despite the publicity! And to make matters even worse it doesn't have a sign outside, you have to check the pump for prices!

I find this equally annoying! It was the biggest Tesco in Europe for a while, and hasn't got a poxy price sign for the petrol station

(I'm in the Fens too mate )

I've yet to see prices go down in Basingstoke / Reading.
Maybe next week it will have hit the stations I drive past

Yep, same as Xav. Local prices were all 96.9p for diesel when I was out and about. Still, it does mean when I need to fill up I won't have to queue

a couple of the local garages by me have dropped to 90.9 for unleaded and 93.9 for diesel.

Others are still at 98.9/99.9 and doing quite a brisk trade bizarrely

Yep I couldn't believe that, I drove off and went to the 'Rainbow' Shell in Orton which was cheaper. The stupid pumps wouldn't accept my clubcard, or my credit cards anyway!

Prices have dropped here, which is nice. Cheapest I've seen is 87.9 for Unleaded in the Shell. Pity it's temporarily closed!
