FINAL UPDATE - 15th JUNE:

Due to only NINE (9) orders the price has slipped slightly:

Kit+packing weighs 0.78 KG - CONFIRMED

Shipped to the UK the units cost 72.42 EUR - as of this morning that is £48.93
PLUS onward UK postage means:

UK orders: £51.23 TOTAL to your door
EURO (Ireland orders - GAFF): £53.81 TOTAL to your door

In case the EURO strengthens I would like to suggest adding 1% (50p) and I will send back change or refund if no movement or if the EURO weakens. Thanks

Hey Paul, Thanks for the PM.
I'm still interested, the price works out about €80 which is €10 better than off superskoda (the reason I put the previous post up was I wasn't sure what the outcome would be with postage to Ireland).

Just waiting for Vimto2000 and JonnoVRs and it's a go!

Payment by PayPal accepted (add 20p + 3.4%) or by credit/debit card (20p + 2.9%)

= PayPal £1.96 fee or £1.70 for Credit/Debit card

Or send cheque to me (I will assume it will clear - to save time)

As mentioned above, if I slightly overcharge you upfront for currency and then return funds in the form of cash sellotaped on card in box etc (approx 50p say).

Once ALL funds are paid I will order them.

When the retailer has processed the charge to my CC (which has no currency fee - normally 2.75%) - I will know the exact price and inform you.

PS: ExFiesta - not too late - Welcome!

Woah there tiger!

I need to know that everyone is happy for me to order first - else it isn't a "Group Buy".

I am not acting as a conventional retailer - I do not want a garage full of these kits just incase some one might want one.

Also the international shipping is a significant factor to overall cost and I need exact order size to divvy up the charge.

Once I know who is happy with price we go ahead. Then I collect money, then I order kits. Once they arrive in Blighty you get them sent out Royal Mail.

I will PM you all my email, address details (so you know where I live just for your records rather than anything else - or possibly to send cheque etc) and payment options when I get a decision from the two remaining members.

exFiesta, I note your Occy is "Build week 27".

What's the rush on the bonnet lift? It'll be here before your wagon is

No worries mate, sorry if I jumped the gun... just didn't want to hold anything up! Like you say there is no rush, though in the mean time I could probably use them for holding the garage door open!

Ok thanks for the support, everyone is champing at the bit on this one (I want mine by the latest end of June) - so if you know where Vimto2000 and JonnoVRs are - give em a nudge

The PM thingy on this site will only allow 5 CCs on email or I have to wait 60 seconds between PMs (plus the inbox/outbox only holds 50 emails) - so pretty useless. Would have been inpossible if I had raised 40 people's interest!

Summary of costs:

£51.23 UK postage
£53.81 EURO postage

PayPal £1.96 fee
Credit Card/Debit Card £1.70 fee

Cheque etc - FREE

Currency error: 50p (refundable)

In THEORY by reaching 10 people we get another 1% discount and divvy up carriage by one more = 71 EUR = £48.10 a saving of 83pence!!
(plus UK postage £2.30 or £4.88)

WHEN this goes live:

TARIFF

UK CHQ orders: £51.73
EURO CHQ orders: £54.31

UK PP orders: £53.69
EURO PP orders: £56.27

UK CC/DC orders: £53.43
EURO CC/DC orders: £56.01

With possible estimated rebate of £1.33 to follow (due to currency and further disc) - returned to you by CASH in lifter kit box.
If you pay by PP I can do a partial refund, I think - if it is easier/preferred

Mate you can keep any rebate for and maybe it'll buy you a pint well deserved after organising this!
