Thumbs up Collinite 476s Group Buy

Hi all -

Have decided to arrange a group buy for one of the most popular and highly regarded waxes on the market - Collinite 476s.

Normally priced around the £17 mark or thereabouts, I can offer a price of £13.75 including delivery for the 9oz tin.

I'd need 22 tins before it would activate, so I'll leave it up to the membership to see what happens. I'll give it a fortnight until I call it in and we'll take it from there.

Normal group buy rules apply -

This group buy is not an offical BRISKODA organised buy and therefore BRISKODA, CANNOT be held responsible for any wrong doing that may occur.

Please feel free to PM me for any more info if required.

Many thanks.

Yep. In terms of value for money its a good deal, plus its one of the most durable waxs on the market so got vfm there too! My tin is nearly finished and was looking to buying another tin in the near future regardless.

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

Could be interested. Who would you be getting the Collinite from, for the GB?

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

Ross,

I appreciate what you are doing but the Group buys section has some rules to run by that are in a sticky at the top of the forum that have to be complied with. I have pasted these below and temporarily locked this thread, when you have read, understood and happy with it all drop a PM to any mod and we will reopen it.

Once the above has been done and the GB has been ok'd. The first post should describe the following:

1) some detail of product/service being bought and if possible, a web page for more information.
2) The standard price and discounted price.
3) The minimum number of people required to qualify for discouted price.
4) A set time limit over which the buy is to be run.

A disclaimer must also be included to exempt BRISKODA from any legal liability if problems arise from the buy.

It must also be stated that the buy is not an offical BRISKODA organised buy and therefore BRISKODA, CANNOT be held responsible for any wrong doing that may occur.

All buy organisers will be subject to a "probationary" period. This it to ensure that buys are well organised and successfull.

If you have any questions regarding the above rule sand rules please PM VRStu or ColinD....but please DO NOT REPLY to this post.

Many thanks.

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

Depending on who the supplier is really as to whether I'd be interested. A certain supplier of said product annoyed me greatly so I won't be sending them any business again.

For those who don't want just the wax, the following kit from elite car care might offer a sollution:

- Collinite #476s Paste Wax Detailing Kit Elite Car Care

That includes two applicators and 3 MF cloths to remove it.

Maybe the OP could organise something similar through his source?

Also as an aside, the fleetwax 885 is IIRC the same product as the 476s but in a bigger cheaper (than rrp, per fl.oz) tin. Would the OP's source be able to get these tins at a similar price to the smaller tins of 476s?

Boat and Car Cleaning: 885 Heavy Duty Paste Fleetwax,Collinite Boat and Caravan Products

This PDF suggests they are the same from the labels in the identity section of the safety data and I remember hearing it too.

It is coming through the official trade channels and not through a third party at all - hope this helps.

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

For anyone reading this GB and wondering if they should buy this wax then I would strongly recommend it, very durable, easy to apply and great on most colours..............

A decent applicator pad and some MF's cloths is a must though when using this product but if your after another tin then this GB looks like a good price to me including delivery..........

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

Care to put a 2 applicators a tub of 855 (12oz)/476s(9oz) and 3 MF cloths price up for us to look as a package price in addition to the 476s alone.

I've got loads of the stuff left myself (just found a large tin last night) but i know somebody who might like one.

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

This thread is drifting away from a Group Buy into discussion and unauthorised commercial activity. Please keep it on topic - ie the purchase of the Collinite 476 on offer - or it will be closed. Thank you.

Re: Collinite 476s Group Buy

I'm sure I'd make an adjustment in your favour depending on how much it'd save on postage, but that'd be no problem I'm sure - fill your boots! To speed things up for folks - if I can get it to double figures, then I'll stand by the same discount. If that's permitted by the folks in Mod towers? Or do I get in trouble again for changing the terms midway?

I have no doubt they'll let me know........
