In additon i will be adding an Alpine amp and Sub in the boot. Any ideas on where to mount the amp? And also (before i attempt it and end up in endless carpet) any ideas on how easy it is to run the cables under the carpets to the back? Cheers peeps

I mounted mine on the side of the rear left wheel arch then made a box (carpet covered) to protect it. This was so i could have the seats still removable and fold flat then fit my bike in without losing the sounds

My old one was like this.

But now have an under false floor setup, which is neater.

Running wires under trim at side is best IMO, but there's other ways too.

If you go down the false floor route, it does present the benefits of not risking any physical damage to the amps. So if you're a frequent chuck-things-in-boot kind of person, it's worth it

Take a look here
