|  Alarm as standard? I have a 2001 Octavia Elegance Tdi 110bhp. Does it have an alarm fitted? Reason being, I seem to be able to lock the car but leave the windows open without it setting off any alarm... Also, I tried opening the door with the key as opposed to using the remote, and nothing happened  Hmmm, am I being thick?? |

| Re: Alarm as standard? I don't think it has an alarm. It does have a transponder immobiliser though, so it's going nowhere without the right key. |
