ALPINE 4x60w HU INTO A FELICIA = HELP!!!

help i need to run some amps and my 4x60 head unit in my 95N felicia, the blaupunkt tape is just horrrrrrrrible, and even worse when u try and play a cd thru it!

problem im having is, the headunit needs a direct feed from the battery as normal iso connector is wired with too thinner gauge wire, because the alpine headunit ive got draws off more current than what the wire can provide, and would theoretically begin to overheat and catch fire.

so, my question is, where in the bulkhead/footwells can I run the direct feed, and amp power cables ?

i dont fancy drilling holes randomly in case i make it 3 crashes, so need a pre drilled hole somewhere.

TA!

Rich

I fitted an amp in the boot of my felicia estate, its not too hard.

On the passengers side, pull the plastic trim that runs along the door up (it clicks in and out of place)

Then once you have done that, you should see some screws on the panel shown below, unscrew that and pull it out which reveals all the wiring beneath. (I havn't done this in the picture because its a faff to do)

The power cable runs from near the battery just to the right through a black rubber thing, this is the tricky bit - feeding it through. Once you have pushed it through enough you should be able to see the cable appear inside.

Run it through under the plastic trim and into the boot.

I know this isn't a very clear description of what to do,
but I hope this helps

No I didn't have to take the dash off. I just ran it under the panels shown in the pictures, but for the audio wiring i ran it behind the carpet in the footwell and to the head unit.

If you need any help just let me know.

Cheers.
