| autoleads adapter and vag com hello again ive changed my head unit for a kenwood 808 with an autoleads adapter what i need to is what will happen if i plug in my laptop with vagcom does this adapter stop it from killing my laptop or do i still need to do something else ive had a look on here but am a little confused (as usual) your help would great |

| Re: autoleads adapter and vag com I believe you are talking about the 'aftermarket radio problem'. Do a search on RossTech website for info. If you have used the Autoleads afaptor to turn around the two +ve's then you ought to be ok. Many newer interfaces also have in built protection.

| Re: autoleads adapter and vag com If you have used the autoleads adapter you will have no problems. The problem ocurrs when not using the adapter.
