Fabia Vrs MFD Head Unit

I know there are loads of threads on MFD head units on here but I'm looking for a few pointers.

Does the standard Skoda/VAG one come with Sat Nav etc?
Where can you get one from for a reasonable price?
How hard are they to fit?

The MFD is a Sat NAV.
eBay is a good source, Skoda ones are harder to find.
Not too bad, you'll need to get what's called a Plug and Play Loom but they are normally supplied with them.

Cool, its sat nav im after. Was thinking of getting a tom tom or something but thought I may as well spend a bit more and get proper integrated unit. Are they basically just a big screen with sat nav, radio and CD. Do they play DVDs and are they normally touch screen?

No such luxuries I'm afraid. Very old technology.

It depends on what you want. It is a good unit but doesn't offer the functions of the likes of TomTom etc.

Well I was looking for a sat nav to start with and maybe a new head unit so thought why not look for a combined one. But seeing as the MFD dont have ability to play CDs then its a none starter. Maybe it worth getting a 3rd party unit with dvd/touch screen/bluethooth etc... not sure though Wanted to try keep it all OEM you know,
