Mfd Gala

The GALA on my satnav seems shot. The arrow seems to move on screen OK but the volume doesn't go up and down with speed any more. If I press the big red GALA disable button the volume goes through the roof; if you turn it down on the satnav there seem to be two settings, off (just hisses quietly) and deafening. Having clicked the button so many times I can't remember which of the above is 'enabled' and which is 'disabled'.

Any ideas?

If the volume shoots through the roof, then possibly you have to adjust the GALA factor in the Audio menu.

Humm, well it seems I've actually been driving with GALA disabled recently. I pressed the switch again, but this time while stationary, and it fixed itself. I can't say I'd noticed the arrow moving in big lumps before, but it is now moving more smoothly. And the volume now goes up and down. Don't know how it got turned off

but I've learnt not to turn it back on while going down the motorway!
